The countdown is on, only three weeks left until our FREE Have-a-go sessions for Brain Health!
In conjunction with World Table Tennis Day 2026, we’re putting brain health in the spotlight with FREE Have-A-Go for Brain Health sessions happening all around the country.
Table tennis is known as the ultimate “whole brain workout,” activating visual tracking, hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, strategic thinking, memory, and split-second decision-making - all while keeping you moving and having fun.
Never picked up a bat? Haven’t played in years? Just keen to try something new? Perfect. These sessions aren’t competition, they’re a celebration of participation, enjoyment, and connection in a welcoming, supportive space.
Bring your friends, come with family, or show up solo and leave with new connections.
From total beginners to seasoned players, everyone is welcome. All equipment is provided - just bring your good vibes and get ready for a feel-good brain boost.

Whanganui Table Tennis Association (WTTA) is hosting a Women & Girls Have-A-Go session on 7 March 2026.
From beginners to pros, all women and girls are welcome. Meet new people and have a blast with friends.

DML Construction Veterans Graded Open Doubles Tournament
· For players 40 years and over (As at 31st Dec 2025)
· Social atmosphere, Prizes for morning group winners, plus lots of spot prizes
· Your nominated partner in the morning (or Partner Required) - matched partner in the afternoon
· Snack food & coffee & tea provided (At a small charge)
· $20 per person entry fee for the day, or $15 per person for either morning or afternoon only
